Event Details

It is widely accepted that a combination of electromagnetic, electrical, thermal, and mechanical analysis is required to create a competitive Traction motor. In the development of traction, machines include different types of requirements and difficulties to achieve efficiency, torque, smoothness, materials, and manufacturing. Considering all these relevant influencing factors make it necessary to start as early as possible with a design that takes into account all these properties and can be optimized step by step. We provide an integrated workflow that includes quick design, detail design, and analysis tools that work hand-in-hand to deliver the electrical drive quickly and to the necessary depth. While in the preliminary design benchmarks have to be determined quickly and a multitude of variants are to be analyzed in all physics, the task in detail design is based on precession and great flexibility. In this webinar, we explore how carrying out Multiphysics analysis at the initial stages of the design process ultimately results in a more competitive design.

Benefits:

  • Electromagnetic Design, Analysis & optimization of Motors.
  • Thermal Analysis of Motors (Including cooling Mechanism, housing, Insulation and Thermal material data etc.)
  • Drive Cycle Analysis of Motors
  • NVH analysis at the preliminary design stage.
